FVA represents the third sector on Fife's community planning partnerships and strategic groups, and consults the sector on the policies and plans that affect it. The Third Sector Strategy Group, an independent group of elected representatives from across the sector, works with FVA to give that representation a mandate and to set the sector's own strategic direction.

Fife's Third Sector Strategy
The TSSG is leading on the development of a strategic approach for Fife's third sector in ensuring a fairer Fife for all. This is a direct response to a recommendation in the Fairness Matters report produced by the Fairer Fife Commission. We held a number of civic conversations with colleagues from across sectors, developed a draft framework and held a conference in spring 2017.
