Fife has welcomed people fleeing conflict and persecution for many years, and FVA works alongside Fife Council, Fife Migrants Forum and other partners to make sure they are supported to settle, find work or volunteering, and become part of their communities. Our New Scots co-ordinator connects new arrivals with services and helps local organisations to support them.
The pages in this section cover support services, benefits, work and volunteering, clothing and food, befriending and raising a concern. If you would like to help, the best way is usually to volunteer with, or donate to, one of the organisations working directly with new Scots; contact us and we will tell you what is needed at the moment.
