People do not always know which organisation to ask, and the first door they try is often not the right one. No Wrong Door is the principle that any service a person contacts should be able to connect them with the help they need, whoever provides it.
FVA supports this in Fife through the directory of services, which gives frontline staff and the public one up-to-date source of information about local services, and through our work with partners on referral routes between the third sector and public services.
