Public contracts can deliver far more than the goods and services they buy. Community benefit clauses commit contractors to jobs, apprenticeships, work placements, support for community projects and local supply chains. Making those benefits land where they are needed takes a link between the contractor and the community, which is what FVA's Fife Community Benefits service provides: a register of third sector projects and needs that contractors can match their commitments to.
