Raising a concern

What to do if you are worried about the safety or treatment of a refugee or migrant in Fife, or have experienced hate crime yourself.

If somebody is in immediate danger, call 999. Hate crime, harassment and abuse can be reported to Police Scotland on 101, in person at a police station, or through a third party reporting centre if you would rather not go to the police directly; Fife Centre for Equalities can help you do this.

Concerns about the welfare of an adult or a child can be reported to Fife Council's social work services through the council's contact centre. Concerns about a support service or an organisation can be raised with FVA in confidence, and we will help you take them to the right place.
