This webinar is for community groups, and will give a detailed introduction to Community Asset Transfer.

Gain an overview to Community Asset Transfer, the legislative process that enables the community ownership and management of publicly owned land and buildings.

  • Explore the rights available to communities under the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015
  • Learn how community groups can become Eligible Transfer Bodies
  • The legal requirements to make an Asset Transfer Request to the public sector organisations covered by the legislation

This session is led by the Scottish Government funded Community Ownership Support Service (COSS) and will include a presentation and Q&A.
