The Scottish Government has commissioned NHS Fife and Fife Health and Social Care Partnership to pilot a new Walk-In Service (Urgent Care) at Randolph Wemyss Hospital in Buckhaven. The service opened on 24th August 2026.
The Walk-In Service (Urgent Care) is designed to provide same-day assessment and treatment for urgent health concerns that need prompt attention, but are not life-threatening emergencies. It is intended to complement existing healthcare services, not replace them.
Why are they asking for your views?
The Walk-In Service has already been commissioned, and this survey is not seeking views on whether it should proceed. Instead, they want to understand how the service can be delivered in a way that is accessible, inclusive, and equitable for everyone.
Your feedback will help inform the Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA), implementation planning and the future evaluation of the pilot.
There are no right or wrong answers, they welcome all feedback and perspectives.
Feedback will be used in public presentations and reports, but the information you provide will be anonymised and you will not be identified.
