Make a difference to local families
Home-Start Glenrothes is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Family Support Worker to join its team and help deliver vital support to families across the Glenrothes and Cowdenbeath areas.
Home-Start Glenrothes provides a unique service to families, recruiting and training volunteers to support parents in their own homes.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Coordinator to provide tailored, practical and non-judgemental support to vulnerable families. Support is delivered through a combination of one-to-one work, volunteers and group sessions.
About you
The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting families and understand the needs of families with young children.
They will have:
- Experience of supporting families
- Experience of working with family groups
- Experience delivering programmes relating to child development, health and wellbeing
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and organisations
- A full driving licence and access to a car
