Fife Council is looking for suggestions and representations on the draft scheme for the establishment of community councils.
All community councils in Fife must operate under the Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils in Fife. The scheme sets out how community councils in Fife are formed, the conditions under which they can operate, and the minimum standards to be met for recognition as a community council.
They are undertaking a review of the current scheme and community boundary council areas before the next round of community council elections, scheduled to take place in 2027.
Please note that the content of any suggestions or representations made and the details of the party or parties making such representations may appear in a publicly available report to the Council.
