Food and fuel support

Help in Fife with food, energy bills and keeping warm.

  • Food: foodbanks and community pantries operate across Fife. Most foodbanks work by referral from a support worker, GP, school or advice agency; community pantries and larders are open to everyone for a small membership fee. Search the directory of services for the one nearest you.
  • Energy: Cosy Kingdom offers free, impartial energy advice to households in Fife, including help with bills, tariffs and keeping your home warm. Citizens Advice and Rights Fife can help with fuel debt and grants from suppliers.
  • Emergency help: Fife Council's Scottish Welfare Fund can give crisis grants for food and fuel in an emergency; see crisis support grants.
