About this service

Prescription for Work can be accessed by employers on behalf of staff or employees through direct referral to the Supported Employment Service with agreement from the employer and employee. Discussions are held with the employer and employee to assess the impact of the person’s disability, health condition or mental health issue at work; and stressors, triggers, environmental or other considerations that may be negatively affecting the employee. Jointly, solutions are identified such as accommodations, adjustments, work retention passports or wellness plans to help people return to, or stay, in work.
