Footcare Fife depends entirely on its volunteers, who are recruited and trained by the Footcare Fife team. Each volunteer spends about half an hour with each client at a clinic, cutting and filing toenails and applying cream where needed, and having a chat. Training, materials, support and expenses are all provided, and the training and equipment are endorsed by NHS Fife.
