About this opportunity

Do you enjoy driving? Could you give up a few hours a week to help people get to hospital for dialysis treatment?

St John Scotland is looking for volunteer drivers aged between 25-80 to support our patient transport service.
St John Scotland works in partnership with NHS Fife to provide patient transport for people attending renal clinics. As a Patient Transport Driver, it will be your role to transport renal patients to and from the Renal Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline or Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. This service is completely free to patients. Drivers will need to collect a St John Scotland vehicle before collecting and dropping off the patient(s) and drivers are subject to a driving assessment and PVG.
