About this opportunity

Friends of Queen Margaret Hospital (FQMH) raise funds to relieve the needs of patients and staff attending and working in the Hospital and West Fife.

There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in financial data and record keeping to become their new treasurer. The roleholder will ensure the FQMH finances are managed appropriately to ensure legal compliance. The individual will become a member of FQMH and a trustee of the executive board. They will attend four members meetings and ten board meetings per year, and report on the organisation's finances at these meetings. The charity uses Excel to manage their books and a SumUp system to take electronic payments. Cash is also taken at events and the treasurer will be responsible for banking cash and maintaining a float.
