About this opportunity

YMCA Glenrothes is an independent local charity, governed by a dedicated team of volunteers from across Fife and proudly affiliated with the worldwide YMCA movement. Committed to supporting the local community, the charity delivers practical services, information, and opportunities that help people thrive, build connections, and overcome challenges.

Are you practical, hands-on, and enjoy fixing things? YMCA Glenrothes are looking for skilled and enthusiastic volunteers to join their new Repair Café and help people repair, restore, and reuse everyday items that might otherwise end up in landfill.
As a Repair Café Volunteer, you'll use your skills and experience to help diagnose problems, carry out repairs where possible, and share your knowledge with local people in a friendly and welcoming environment.
