About this opportunity
Furniture Plus provides affordable furniture to people in Fife through their Dysart and Dunfermline stores, supporting the community and the environment by reducing waste and encouraging reuse. They are looking for a Bric a Brac Champion to organise donated bric a brac within their Dysart store. The main tasks include:
· Sorting donations
· Quality checking of donations
· Assisting with pricing and tagging donated items
· Reducing prices when appropriate
· Merchandising donated items
· Taking customer details for Gift Aid
This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in finding new homes for bric a brac and helping the planet, while gaining experience of customer service and merchandising. Volunteers can acquire skills, knowledge and confidence as part of a dynamic team of staff and volunteers. If this is what you are looking for, get in touch with Furniture Plus today.
