About this opportunity

Week by week, Scouts volunteers empower thousands of young people aged 4 to 25 to try new things, make new friends and stand on their own two feet. You don’t have to work with young people to give them skills for life.
39th Scout Group are looking for a treasurer. You could play a critical role in managing their financial health and ensuring transparency, working closely with their board and chairperson to support their mission.
As treasurer, you will:
- Oversee all financial aspects, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting
- Develop annual budgets and financial plans
- Ensure compliance with charity laws
- Support fundraising initiatives and optimise resources for long-term sustainability

You can make a meaningful impact in your community as part of a supportive and passionate team. Ready to make a difference? Join the 39th Scout Group as Treasurer and help continue their mission of empowering young people!
