About this service
As a school pupil, a Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) gives early exposure to the world of work, helping to develop the skills, experience, and knowledge needed on leaving school. It’s the chance to get a head start in a career by gaining an industry-recognised qualification, work on real projects and broaden career options. FA opportunities are available in accountancy, business, construction, creative and digital media, engineering, IT, hospitality, social services, and healthcare. Most start in Aug/Sept each year and end in June the following year.See www.fife.ac.uk/schools/foundation-apprenticeships for further information.
