About this service

Through our casework approach supporting employability programmes, we will support young people to gain work experience and expand their personal and social development skills to progress into a positive destination. Our casework team will provide young people with person centred, 1:1 support to help them discover their potential and set goals for their future. This support will complement our in-person employability programme, known as ‘Get Ready’ or ‘Get Into’.

Get Ready provides young people a stepping stone into the world of work by doing employability workshops and focussing on personal development skills. This is a perfect course before Get Into programmes.
Get Into provides young people with sector specific skills and experience to enable them to move into a sustainable job outcome. Programmes are delivered alongside employer partners across multiple sectors.

The King's Trust will run courses throughout 2026, open to people aged 16-30 who are not in full-time work or education. Any potential applicant for these courses must apply before the relevant selection date.
