About this service

Apprenticeship Information can be found on the Skills Development Scotland dedicated website - see address link below.
SDS administers the Scottish Apprenticeship family on behalf of the Scottish Government. There are three types of Apprenticeship available:
•  Foundation Apprenticeships help young people gain valuable, real-world work experience and access work-based learning while still at school
• Modern Apprenticeships let individuals work, learn, and earn. There are over 100 types of apprenticeship available from financial services to science, with individuals working towards an industry recognised qualification while gaining on-the-job experience
•  Graduate Apprenticeships provide work-based learning while studying towards a University Degree. They are available in growth industries including Cyber Security and Early Learning and Child Care

SDS Careers Coaches can support individuals to find and apply for Apprenticeships, with information and vacancies also available on the apprenticeships.scot website.
