Lead Scotland’s Fife Adult Befriending Project is a service for adults and older people in Fife who feel isolated, lonely or disconnected, perhaps as a result of disability, ill health or other circumstances. Our fantastic Lead Scotland Volunteer Befrienders can support people to improve their confidence and connect more with their community. Maybe you could go for a short walk, go for a tea/coffee in town, find a local activity or simply spend some time having a chat in the person’s home. Each match will be to spend around 2 hours per week or fortnight for 4-6 months, depending on the needs of the person receiving support. Lead Scotland are accepting referrals, (outwith Kirkcaldy or Glenrothes). Please get in touch using their contact form.
