Last updated: 02/07/2026 (more than 3 months ago)Home-Start Cowdenbeath supports families with a child or children aged 0-8 in the Benarty, Lochgelly, Kelty, Cowdenbeath and Crossgates area. They are here for all parents, whatever their background and whatever their situation. They match trained volunteers with families for regular visits. Support is tailored to the needs of each individual family. Support can be provided in the family home, but a key role of volunteers can also be to encourage and accompany parents in accessing local services. All their volunteers are trained, managed and supervised by Home-Start Cowdenbeath staff. They also run a number of weekly groups and classes for parents and children.
