Intandem

Service

Provided by Inspiring Scotland

Intandem believes that every young person, regardless of their start in life, has the right to opportunities and support in order for them to realise and work towards achieving this potential. The majority of Intandem's services are based at the Hendry Crescent HQ and the new Gallatown hub; however, Intandem is a Fife-wide service and our volunteers meet young people in their communities all over Fife. Intandem is administered by Inspiring Scotland and works alongside Kirkcaldy YMCA to train and match volunteer mentors with children and young people. This community-based approach also strengthens local communities by providing training and opportunities for volunteers to be part of young people’s lives and healthy development. As Scotland’s national mentoring programme for young people looked after at home and in kinship care, Intandem helps Scotland’s children, young people and families stay together to build and maintain positive, loving relationships.
