LinkLiving's Link Academy has recently announced Steps to Resilience programme for pupils in S1 and S2, starting on Wednesday 04 February 2026.

Steps to Resilience is an eight-week personal development programme that provides trauma-informed support to help young people develop tools to build resilience, manage the impact of adverse childhood experiences and overcome barriers to achieve their potential. The course covers a number of topics including:

    • Sleep
    • Conflict resolution
    • Stress and anxiety
    • Self-image
    • Social media

The interactive workshops run two days per week which includes wellbeing topics like arts and crafts, games and challenges. They'll also have a celebration day at the end of the course.

LinkLiving will provide two development workers during the programme so that young people have access to one-to-one support throughout.

The programme will run from LinkLiving's West Bridge Mill office in Kirkcaldy on Wednesdays and Fridays,10am-2pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout.

LinkLiving is currently unable to provide transport and young people will need to be able to access the venue independently.

    How to refer

If you wish to make a referral, please complete this form and return to [email protected].

LinkLiving will then arrange to meet individually with each young person in the coming weeks to confirm suitability for the course.

The closing date for referrals is Friday 23 January 2026.
