    Hours: 28 hours per week, working pattern can be flexible across the working week to meet the needs of the project
    Salary: £23,200 (£29,000 FTE) per annum plus Living Pension – 9% Employer, 3% Employee contribution
    Location: Fife-wide, can be based in Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy or Dunfermline

     

    Footcare Fife provides a toenail cutting service for the people of Fife who struggle to cut their own toenails. In 2024/25, over 4500 people in Fife benefitted from this project. Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is looking for a Coordinator to oversee the continuation and development of this valued project. The Coordinator will be responsible for selecting, training, supervising and supporting volunteers to deliver personal footcare to people in Fife. They will assess potential service users in line with referral criteria and coordinate quality personal footcare clinics with partners and ensure that clinics and volunteers have sufficient supplies. They will gather data to inform quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation of the project.

    About you

    FVA is looking for someone who has a background in coordinating community projects. You will have experience of working with, motivating and supporting volunteers effectively.

    It’s essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders from service users, to healthcare professionals, to volunteers and colleagues. You should be organised and efficient, with a personal commitment to equal opportunities.

    An understanding of the voluntary or charitable sector is desirable.
