    Post: Building Support Officer (Cleaner) 
    Hours: Negotiable and flexible, guaranteed minimum hours per week. 
    Salary: £12.00 per hour + 8% pension contribution (7% employer, 1% employee) 
    Reporting to: Facilities Manager 
    Location: Choose any one or more of FVA's offices across Fife (Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Leven - with travel expenses paid between offices if you choose to work across multiple offices)

     

    The Building Support Officer will provide a high quality and reliable cleaning and light maintenance duty service that will ensure Fife Voluntary Action continues to provide a high standard of office and meeting facilities for internal staff, tenants and partner organisations. This includes vacuuming, emptying waste bins, mopping floors, dusting, cleaning toilets etc. 

    You will ensure consumable items such as soap and toilet roll are sufficiently available and ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy and ready for use. Cover is required in the event of holiday, sickness or other absences. You will support the Facilities Manager as and when required and contribute to the health and safe operation of FVA's properties. 

    There are 16 guaranteed hours per week for multiple locations. Days and hours can be negotiated. If you have access to a car you can choose to work across our offices and receive full travel expenses. If you don't have access to a car, you can opt to work at just one or two offices to suit.
