    • Providing Essentials - Providing the essentials to address an immediate need and/or situation
    • Transform/Improve - Funding to transform and/or improve a space/activity
    • Connect Together - Funding to bring people together, encouraging community connections
    • Volunteering - Funding to support volunteer costs enabling them to continue supporting their groups and communities

    Fund award sizes

    Minimum - £400

    Maximum - £1,600

    Who Can Apply

Groups must have an income under £1 million per year in order to apply for the grassroots grants. Asda Foundation aims to support and prioritise local grassroots groups with low income where funding will make a bigger difference.

    When to Apply

Round 1 applications may be submitted to your local Community Champion 15 January – 1 March 2024. The round could close early if the budget cap is reached.

Applications should be submitted to Asda Foundation at least six weeks before your activity to give enough processing time.

    How to Apply

The Community Champion in your local superstore will support you in completing your application and will submit the application to the Foundation on your behalf.

The closing date for applications is Friday 01 March 2024.
