    Course Content

That volunteers are part of your organisation voluntarily is obvious, but do they ever feel an obligation to remain involved? Organisations need to consider ways in which they may- consciously or unconsciously- be creating a 'contract' between themselves and their volunteers. This course will help you to identify any possible pitfalls and show you how to avoid them.

    Included in the course:

    •    The difference between volunteers and other categories of people in an organisation
    •    The impact of the Equality Act 2010
    •    The most likely areas of any legal challenge
    •    Issues to consider in your documentation, routines, and recognition and reward processes

    Who should attend

Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting or managing volunteers in their organisation. Your organisation should be providing a service in Fife.

In order to offer places to as many organisations as possible, we are only able to offer two places on each date to members of the same organisation. If your organisation would like to send more than 2 people, please get in touch with us to discuss options.
