Despite the constant interest in new and better techniques to recruit volunteers, the true challenge in the volunteer field is first having meaningful activities for volunteers to do. Without preparation, you run the risk of attracting people who do not really meet your needs and therefore are the wrong volunteers for you. And having the wrong volunteers may be worse than having no volunteers at all.

Who should attend
Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting or managing volunteers in their organisation. Your organisation should be providing a service in Fife.
In order to offer places to as many organisations as possible, we are only able to offer two places on each date to members of the same organisation. If your organisation would like to send more than 2 people, please get in touch with us to discuss options.

The first 15 minutes of the session will be a relaxed start, with time for hot drinks and networking.
Notes from the session will be forwarded to all participants who complete a post-training evaluation form that will be e-mailed to you.
