    Post: Electrician (Multi-Skilled Operative)
    Hours: 38 hours per week
    Salary: £28,661 - £33,919 per annum
    Location: Glenrothes

    Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland and has plans for a significant expansion of our housing stock over the next five years. KHA's electricians work as part of Asset Management's in-house maintenance team, carrying out alterations, repairs and maintenance work in our properties.

    You should be a qualified electrician or approved electrician, you will carry out periodic inspections, repairs and alterations to the organisation's housing stock and offices. Several years experience in a maintenance environment is desirable. You must also be able to demonstrate a flexible approach as you will be required to participate in the out-of-hours emergency call rota. In addition to the on-call service, evening and weekend work will be required to meet the needs of the service. You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach and enthusiasm for your work and should be able to work well on your own and as part of a team of multi-skilled operatives.

    Whilst KHA's Depot is based in Glenrothes, you will work at any of its properties or staff bases throughout East Central Scotland. A van, some tools and testing equipment will be provided. A current and valid driving license is essential. You will be required to complete a satisfactory Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check.
