    You will be part of a group of volunteers raising vital funds and building support in the St Andrews area.

    Tasks Include:

    • Organising and carrying out fundraising activities;
    • Being a part of National Heart Month in February, a key opportunity to raise awareness and funds;
    • Involving friends, family and other supporters in fundraising for the charity;
    • Contacting local businesses and groups to ask for their support;
    • Representing the charity in the area, for e.g. cheque presentations.

    British Heart Foundation provide a comprehensive toolkit to the group and can offer a buddy system so members can speak to an established group for advice and support and there will always be a dedicated BHF Scotland Fundraising Manager on hand to help.

    Place: St Andrews area (Volunteers can meet in local area as and when required. A lot of the role can be done via e-mail or over the phone and it will be down to the group how often they meet).
