British Heart Foundation are looking for School and Youth Volunteers.

You will be helping schools to participate in national fundraising initiatives such as Jump Rope for Heart (skipping event) and Ultimate Dodgeball, which raises vital funds whilst improving children’s heart health. They also have an initiative for younger children called Artie’s Olympics.

You will need to take time to learn about the work of British Heart Foundation and familiarise yourself with their resources so you develop your ability to support the cause. You may be required to research your local area and make initial approaches to schools yourself, by phone or in person with guidance from your Fundraising Manager.

Place: Throughout Fife. (A discussion will take place with the Volunteer and Fundraising Manager to determine the area that the volunteer is comfortable with. In order to do this role, volunteers must have access to their own transport. The resources given to the volunteer are bulky and may be difficult to take on public transport.)

To enquire about this opportunity please e-mail: [email protected] or telephone 01383 732136.
