    Fife Gingerbread provides support and advice to lone parents, vulnerable and disadvantaged families throughout Fife. They provide support to parents within various group settings to enhance confidence and self-esteem to gain and enhance employability skills.

    The Community Group Volunteer will require to undertake the following:-

    • Welcome and assist parents and children;
    • Assist staff members as required;
    • Maintain safety and wellbeing of the group;
    • Help to maximise the group experience and enjoyment of all;
    • Assist with purchasing and preparation of refreshments, resources and materials;
    • Assist with cleaning/tidying of venues;
    • Support with setting up group prior to parents and children arriving;
    • Working closely with Making it Work Support Worker.

    Time and Place: The community group is based in various venues in Kirkcaldy and the volunteer will be required to travel to and from various venues. However once the volunteer is linked to a group this will be held in the same venue for 3 months.
