Following the updates from the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, the course will provide up-to-date information on:
- General information on PVG and disclosure checking
- The different types of disclosure check available (e.g. Basic, Standard, Enhanced and PVG Scheme)
- Regulated roles and how to assess them
- A brief look at how to go about processing checks (this is covered in more detail in the PVG signatory course)
- Safe recruitment
