    About this opportunity:Care And Share Companionship support people living in the Kirkcaldy area over the age of 60, who are experiencing isolation and loneliness. They have an exciting opportunity to join their volunteer board of trustees and are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to fulfil the role of secretary on their board. The responsibilities of the secretary office bearer role include:
    -Scheduling and organising Board and AGM meetings
    -Working with the Chairperson to set the agendas of Board and AGM meetings
    -Notifying details of upcoming meetings to attendees
    -Preparing and issuing necessary paperwork for the meetings
    -Recording and circulating the minutes of Board and AGM meetings, ensuring that they faithfully reflect all key conversations, decisions and actions
    -Ensuring that meeting actions are addressed by those responsible in a timely manner
    -Ensuring that all meetings comply with Care and Share Companionship's Constitution (the charity's governing document) -Advising on good governance practices
    -Facilitating the induction of new board members

    Training provided:Induction will be given by a board member. You will receive a Trustee Handbook and be offered any relevant training if the need arises.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses will be reimbursed within the week of the meeting. Public transport costs will be met on receipt of transport ticket.

    Experience required:They are looking for a friendly, conscientious and reliable person with good organisational and administration skills.
