OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Help given essential household appliances a second life while making a real difference to local people. As an Appliance Cleaner Volunteer, you'll prepare donated white goods such as washing machines, fridges cookers and microwaves for resale by thoroughly cleaning them to a high standard. Your efforts help provide affordable household essentials to individuals and families across Fife while supporting Castle Furniture Project's mission to reduce waste and tackle furniture poverty. This is a practical, rewarding role where you'll be part of a friendly team and see the direct impact of your work everyday. Full training equipment and ongoing support are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys hands-on task and given back the their community. Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 16 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: All Domestic Appliance Cleaners are trained in Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), before beginning cleaning within their role. Manual handling training will also be provided for movement of white goods. Out of pocket expenses paid?

Volunteers should be able to follow health and safety guidance, safety use cleaning products and carry out light physical task.
