About this opportunity: | DAPL is a well-respected voluntary sector organisation in Fife and is looking for additional board members to support the existing directors of the charity. DAPL offers one to one counselling, support, information and advice to individuals and families in Fife. The service is free and confidential and offered by experienced workers. DAPL's counselling service is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The organisation was formed in 1994 and originally served the area of Levenmouth, however is now available throughout the entire Kingdom of Fife. THey support: Young people (who are experiencing psychological disorders / or use substances or affected by another's use), Adults (who use substances) |

Experience required: | Ideally looking for suitably qualified individuals with experience/knowledge in ANY of the following areas:
-Individual with lived experience
-Counsellor
-Professional who works (or has worked) in a school setting e.g. teacher; educational psychologist; school nurse etc
-Experienced worker in substance misuse treatment field
-Experience/skills in business (e.g. finance/HR etc)
-Voluntary sector management |
