    About this opportunity:To help organise and facilitate Link Living's social cafes and provide support to service users, who are aged 65 and over, live in Fife and are Socially isolated,

    Main tasks :-

    Attend as agreed with Project Workers
    Keep workers informed of availability and any issues that may arise
    Assist in setting up, running and clearing up of cafe
    welcome members to cafe
    serve hot dirnks and biscuits
    chat with the members and make them comfortable
    facilitate and lead activities where appropriate
    maintain confidentiality

    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:A volunteer handbook and training in various topics relevant to the role e.g. first aid, confidentiality, food hygiene, safeguarding are provided
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 45p per mile

    Experience required:You will be friendly and approachable, dependable and trustworthy. An ability to maintain confidentiality is essential while understanding the need to share information/concerns with paid (Assistant) Project Workers as required

    LinkLiving policy is to have volunteers aged 18 and above only
