Anim8s is a group of artists and childcare professionals with a shared interest in engaging children and young people in the arts and digital media. They work with vulnerable and hard to reach young people and their families, to develop meaningful relationships with agencies who share their interest in exploring how creative media, arts and animation can be used in a way that provides social and educational benefits to children, young people and families.
They are seeking new members to join their management committee to help provide a solid foundation as they look to develop their work in the years to come. They currently have members with a mix of experience and backgrounds including creative artists and those who are involved in working with children and young people in education, local authority, digital and film development, social work and care services. They'd like to hear from new members with similar experience as well as those who might bring something new! Being on a committee can be a rewarding experience and they provide a full induction and overview of their work to get you started.
Please contact us to find out when this opportunity takes place.
Any new committee members will be given an induction into the work of Anim8s and the role that they will play. Informal mechanisms for ongoing support will be in place and they will regularly review this at committee meetings.
