Lucky Ewe is seeking to bring extra energy and perspective to its trustee group as they grow this new educational charity in NE Fife. Read about what their work with people with additional support needs here https://luckyewe.org.uk/ They would love to recruit 1 or 2 trustees, who work well with others, and have the experience and foresight to help steer lucky Ewe forward. They are interested in individuals with a financial or farming background, but all volunteers will be considered. Lucky Ewe trustees work always in the best interests of the charity, helping to: keep the public informed of their work; keep clear financial records; fundraise. Trustees who want to volunteer in practical tasks on the farm are also most welcome. Though not in itself a management position, it is important that trustees work well with the appointed part time staff at Lucky Ewe. At the moment Trustees are meeting at least once a month via Zoom. This requires trustees to prepare for the meeting, participate creatively in the meeting, give their best considered advice, and complete their accepted ensuing actions in a timely way. Altogether a trustee should expect to give 5 hours per month to the charity, though they may choose to give more time.
The volunteer will have a guided tour of farm facilities, an in-depth discussion with one or more trustees covering the aims and activities of the charity and get another trustee appointed as a '˜buddy'
