    About this opportunity:Kirkcaldy Foodbank is the only independent food bank in Fife who are expanding the service of providing food parcels for those in need.

    The food bank is opening a centre containing stores and food parcels for the community in March at Viewforth Community Centre, and volunteers are needed to help increase the service at New Volunteer House.

    This role involves dealing with the public, filling out paperwork and signposting clients to the relevant aid they might need from other organisations to improve their lives.

    Training provided:The food bank arrange for the volunteer to shadow someone initially in the parcel packing area, then give training on client-facing tasks.
