    About this opportunity:Join the Youth Cafe which meets on a Monday night, 6pm-8pm. This activity is open to s1-s3 young people, where they are invited to come along and take part in activities such as baking, crafts and Xbox. The group is youth-led so the Centre is looking for adults to facilitate and support the young people to do what they would like to do.

    Training provided:The Centre provides a full induction to all new volunteers, along with regular formal review meetings and informal catch-ups. Volunteers will be offered the chance to train to receive relevant qualifications, such as a first aid certificate, along with ongoing on-the-role training, given by experienced staff and volunteers.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - The Centre can pay travel expenses at 45p/mile, or the cost of a bus ticket, along with pre-agreed out-of-pocket expenses.

    Experience required:As this is a busy youth cafe, the Centre is looking for people who can think on their feet, are great with young people, and most importantly are able to listen to the young people. The programme is youth led so it's important that the leaders know and understand what the young people enjoy, and enable them to make safe choices and decisions.
