Give your time on a weekly basis to assist the service manager with administration tasks. You will meet potential volunteers, be involved in all aspects of the admin from interview, induction and PVG application to becoming a Volunteer Companion. You will also be involved in organising social of peer support meetings, bringing people together.
Case and Share Companionship are looking for a reliable organised, friendly, supporting and flexible people with some experience of Microsoft packages. Full induction is given with ongoing training.

Induction will be on a 1-1 basis with the Service Manager.
There will be a short introduction of the organisation's support service and their purpose and aims before continuing with discussions around communication, administration skills, Data Protection, Health & Safety and outlining the role in more depth.
Ongoing training will take place quarterly with opportunity for volunteers to make suggestions.
Support will be on a 1-1 with Service Manager, regular communications and bi-monthly peer support meetings.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - TRavel Expenses are paid monthly by D/D; mileage rate is 45p/mile.There is a cap on weekly mileage at 15 miles. Public transport costs will be paid on receipt of ticket purchased.
Volunteers need to: have good communication; be adaptable; have people skills; and have initiative. Ideally you would also be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate, organised, friendly, supportive and flexible, with some experience of Microsoft packages.
