Base is a Scottish Registered Charity which was set up fourteen years ago by a group of visually impaired people to support others with sight problems in East Fife by providing a programme of monthly activities. They require a volunteer to manage their website basefife.org.uk. The tasks needed would include uploading photos, adding script e.g. latest news, update programme of events, add logos and occasional modification. The website is hosted by Digital Fife and tuition has been offered by them on a one-to-one basis should training be required.
This is a great opportunity to support visually impaired people living in East Fife, taking into account how sight-impaired people may need to access websites using screen readers, colour contrast settings, and larger font sizes.
Training sessions offered by Digital Fife on a one-to-one basis if required
