Fife Day Care Services are giving you the chance to be part of a team who help to make a positive difference in the lives of socially isolated older people, delivering day support groups at their Active Aging day centre in Lumphinaans. Responsibilities include service meals and refreshments, and helping service users to participate in group activities.
Any travel expenses would be reimbursed, and all drinks, snacks and lunch provided, so no out-of-pocket expenses will be incurred.
You can choose to help out one day a week, or more if you wish..

There will be full induction with: a policies and procedures pack; a senior staff member nominated as a mentor; and regular support and supervision sessions. Furthermore, for any training that the Fife Day Care Services staff team undergo, the volunteers will be offered the chance to also train (for example, first aid and moving & handling).
