    About this opportunity:They are a charitable collaborative project to re-establish a Scottish flour and bread supply that is healthy, equitable, locally controlled and sustainable . They aim to build capacity and support for communities through promoting strong local economies and developing the infrastructure for more nutritious and digestible bread.Their work grows out of more than forty years of pioneering baking and campaigning by Andrew Whitley (author of Bread Matters) The society is overseen by a Board of Directors with wide experience. If you have a few hours each month to volunteer, if you are someone with a background in accounting or experience in financial oversight (in particular with Community Benefit Societies and/or charities) we would like to hear from you. The Treasurer will be responsible for timely payments of invoices via online banking, oversight of the accounts, preparing annual accounts, supporting annual return to OSCR, reporting to HMRC on payment of interests, dividends, reporting on financial matters to members.
