Sam's Fife is a mental health drop-in facilitated by peer workers who have their own lived experience of mental health issues and recovery. Peer workers are employed by SAMH-the Scottish Association for Mental Health. Sam's is available seven days a week in locations across Fife.
Volunteers at Sam's are supported to reach their potential through co-working with the Sam's team on things such as literature development, developing support approaches, community mapping of resources, developing articles for Sam's Fife magazine, welcoming attendees to Sam's locations and progress through development, to offering wider Sam's Fife support.
The team at Sam's welcomes volunteers and you will be part of a motivated, skilled and encouraging team.
