Fife Cultural Trust are looking for members of the public to "walk in the shoes" of the public . The Trust will record data and comments which will help the Trust to improve their customers' experiences. Main tasks include taking on the role of a library customer with specific requirements and, using preset questions, help to assess the building, staff interaction with the customer and the range of services provided. The successful applicant will be required to complete an online questionaire at each of the libraries that are visited
All volunteers receive a welcome pack with full details of the volunteering role, as well as venue specific information and a volunteers' handbook. Training from an experienced member of staff will support the volunteer throughout their placement.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
The Trust is looking for someone who can work well as part of a small team, have an interest in/experience of using public library services and have basic IT skills that are sufficient to use an electronic tablet.

The minimum age is 18 years. There are no age or gender restrictions. There is supervision given.

There are 29 libraries throughout Fife to choose from. Whichever library/libraries are chosen there will be transport available to get to/from the venues.
This opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
