The role of driver is to arrange the hire of a van as needed and to drive to collect tools from our collectors in Scotland and also members of the public when they have a large load, and deliver to the Cowdenbeath refurbishment centre. This role can be flexible and tasks may indclude: Hiring a van, loading and unloading the van, carrying out pre- and post-visit checks and recording the journey log. We provide full induction and volunteer handbook on starting. The induction will include van checks.
Induction session including health and safety. Training can be provided as needed. The volunteer has the support of the manager at the Cowdenbeath depot and also Head Office
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Competent driver ideally with a clean licence. Reasonably physically fit and responsible.
