Community Research volunteers will work as part of a group scrutinising Fife Council Housing services and make suggestions on how the services can be improved. Fife Tenant Forum is looking for council tenants to volunteer to look closely at Fife Council's Housing services and identify where they could be improved and provide suggestions. Small groups will be formed according to topic (e.g. allocations, repairs, empty houses, rent, etc.) and volunteers can choose which group they would like to join. At the end, a report will be prepared by the group, assisted by FFOTRA's administrative team. The report will be discussed within the Forum and the Housing management team, then finalised by the Scrutiny Panel, going to various places within the Council for an action plan to be agreed. A target time to review and assess the outcome will be set. The report, its findings and action plan will form part of the Council's submission to the Scottish Housing Regulator in the Council's Annual Return on the Charter.
